Photography
Ben Hopper
Ben Hopper’s photographs in this project invert the colors of the subjects to create an X-ray-like effect, offering a striking, otherworldly perspective on Chaim’s body art. The inversion transforms these tattoos into glowing, ethereal designs, giving them an almost surreal, skeletal quality. This unique approach reveals the tattoos in a new light, highlighting their depth and structure while offering an intriguing contrast to their usual presentation. The result is a powerful fusion of body art and photographic innovation, turning Chaim’s tattoos into visual explorations of form and transformation.

These images were laser engraved on metal boards and displayed in a few art exhibitions around the globe.
